We went to the ski rental shop and got
helmets, skis and boots.
We went up the other gondola to the top of Mount
Whistler.
There are lots of runs:
We skied down the Marmot run on to the sidewinder run to the
Emerald Express lift.
Then we went down
Upper Whiskey Jack run onto Papoose run then the Bear cub run to the tree
fort.
Me and Josh went really far ahead
and our Mum’s had to go on separate runs to check where we went. We went down the Express run to the Garbanzo
Express lift and went back up the mountain, then down the Lower whiskey Jack
run and back up the Emerald Express to the Round House.
We had a drink and something to eat
and then
we went on the Peak to Peak Gondola to Blackcomb Mountain. It was a really big Gondola.
Then we went
down the Express way and easy out to the forest with the magic Castle
playground:
then on the sunset boulevard to the Solar Coaster Express.
Then we went down the Expressway and onto the
whole of the Sunset Boulevard run, I had two wipeouts, one of them I slipped
and head butted the snowy bank and then bounce back on my bottom. Then we went back up the Solar Coaster Express
and had a hot chocolate at the top – though I didn’t really like it.
Then we
went back on the Peak to Peak Gondola, we went on a glass bottom one and my
brother didn’t like it as we had to wait for it for a really long time and he
just wanted to ski. It was sort of annoying as I thought it would be glass
bottom all over but it was just in a space in the middle with wires around it
so you couldn’t stand on it. It was
pretty cool as you could see under and see the snowboarders and skiers.
Then we went down the Marmott and went over
to the green acre and ended up on a blue run called the Jolly Green Giant and
we skied down the Upper Olympic run then down the Lower Olympic run all the way
into Whistler Village. Then we took back
the ski’s and things and got some icecream:
then we went back to the apartment and I went in the pool
and the hot tub before dinner.
